A special event for the end of the International Year of Astronomy 2009 (IYA) will be take place Friday and Saturday 13-14 november 2009 at the Verkehrshaus in Luzern. The event is organised jointly by the SSAA, the academy (SCNAT), and the amateur astronomers (SAG).
The program is as follows:
- Friday 14 november: Conferences on the topic “Are we alone?”. [Audience: SCNAT, SSAA, SAG]
- Saturday 14 november – morning: General Assembly of the SSAA (business session) [SSAA only]
