1. Event 13-14 nov 2009 in Luzern
You should all have received the invitation for the exceptional event
13-14 november 2009 in Lucerne (Verkehrshaus) combining:
– Annual congress of scnat
– General Assembly of the SSAA
– Closing ceremony IYA2009
Friday will be an International Symposium on the topic “Are we alone?”.
Saturday, after the SSAA General Assembly, will mostly be devoted to
outreach in astronomy, fostering exchanges between professional and
amateur astronomers, and other interesting topics. The event will close
with an aperitif. Due to the exceptional format, the General Assembly of
the SSAA will only consist of the business session this year.
We very much look forward to see many of you on this occasion,
and we count on your participation also at the General assembly
